Quality Assurance Analyst


GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The Quality Assurance Team has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Analyst.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Determines test objectives and standards by studying software requirements; writes test cycle plans, test cases and test scripts
  • Create pseudo-localization test scripts to help identify internationalization issues
  • Carry out localization testing
  • Provide input on localization and testing processes
  • Performs the white-box/black-box/grey-box testing
  • Understand customer usage of the product and create performance, scalability, and reliability scenarios that can be automated
  • Conducts comprehensive functional, performance and regression testing for a client/server, multi-tier .Net web-based application
  • Document plans and scenarios
  • Maintains testing database by developing defect tracking information and test outcomes, working closely with software developers and users
  • Maintains test environment by obtaining revised business rules and requirements and amending test plans and scripts
  • Work closely with team members and development team to ensure the highest quality of product
  • Work in a fast-paced .NET, C# development environment
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


    SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5+ years software quality assurance and/or testing experience
    • Experience with regression testing.
    • Experience with localization testing and process
    • QA experience with both client/server and web-based applications required
    • Experience with Windows 2000/2003 Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server, IIS, networking is required
    • One of the following professional certifications is preferred: MCSE, MCDBA, MCP
