Bandspeed and Level Platforms Deliver Integrated WLAN Monitoring Solution for Managed Services

Bandspeed’s AirMaestro™ WLAN products now supported by Level Platforms managed services platform

AUSTIN, TEXAS – May 27, 2009 – Bandspeed, a leading provider of next generation WLAN solutions for the small-to-medium enterprise (SME), today announced its partnership with Level Platforms, a leading provider of remote monitoring and management software, to enhance their managed services offering for their solution provider customers. Solution providers using Level Platforms’ remote monitoring and management software, Managed Workplace®, will now be able to remotely monitor Bandspeed’s Wi-Fi access points. This will allow their solution providers to deploy and proactively manage the performance of their customers’ AirMaestro WLANs.

The Bandspeed AirMaestro WLAN solution combines AirMaestro 3100AG Virtual Controller Access Points (APs) with AirMaestro WLAN management software to provide a complete wireless LAN (WLAN) solution.  AirMaestro integrates simultaneous, dual-band Wi-Fi access, wireless security and spectral analysis into an automated, cost-effective system that is easy to deploy, manage and use.  The Bandspeed AirMaestro WLAN is unique in its ability to bring enterprise-class performance and manageability to the mass market with features that include:

Through Managed Workplace, VARs using Bandspeed AirMaestro products will be notified of events and can respond to them more quickly, saving their customers the cost of sending technicians onsite. In addition, VARs can build managed services revenues around the Bandspeed AirMaestro product line, creating recurring revenue streams based on monthly charges for remote monitoring/management, firmware update management and asset tracking.
