Managed Workplace leverages technology standards and innovative patented network communications to deliver a highly scalable and reliable platform from which to deliver a comprehensive managed services offering to your customers.Unlike earlier managed services software products, Managed Workplace leverages next generation technologies to deliver high performance, scalable and easy to use agentless monitoring and management technology.
- Simple Deployment – With the installation of a single light weight software component, the Onsite Manager, Managed Workplace offers full agentless monitoring and management capabilities.
- Policy Based Monitoring – Customizable monitoring policy modules (templates) for over 200 products from more than 60 leading vendors.
- Limited Bandwidth Usage – The Onsite Manager has been optimized for minimal network traffic utilization. Since only the Onsite Manager communicates with the central console (Service Center) external bandwidth utilization is optimized for scalability. The ability to queue data at the Onsite Manager also provides for more reliable communications in the event of network failure.
- Secure – With full SSL support and no inbound communication or open port requirements, Managed Workplace provides an ISO-compliant solution for your customers. The Onsite Manager is the only component which communicates externally offering simple and effective network security.
- Ecosystem Integration – Product integration with all major operating systems, applications, servers, PCs, network and security devices, VOIP, backup and recovery and more. Services integration include 3rd party NOCs, peer-to-peer, remote backup, hosted security, PSA/CRM and more.
- Out-of-Band Management – The Onsite Manager can easily monitor and manage devices even when they are powered off by leveraging advanced Intel® vPro™ technology for out-of-band management.
- Easy Configuration and Maintenance – When new devices are brought online or reconfigured, the Onsite Manager instantly detects and begins managing those devices. And as new versions of Managed Workplace become available a single upgrade immediately delivers all the anticipated benefits.
- Virtualization – Managed Workplace can be deployed easily in virtual environments to save you time and to help standardize configurations within your customer’s networks.
- Hosted or On-Premise – Managed Workplace is available as an on-premise or as hosted solution allowing for maximum flexibility for deployment based options.
